After four years and two children, Jessica Simpson, 33, and Eric Johnson, 34, are finally getting hitched on July 4th. As Jessica once said, “Eric keeps knocking [her] up,” so, despite the two previous wedding dates they had set, now’s the time! Details about her sure-to-be-gorgeous dress and more below!
“Jessica wants it to be the hugest, grandest event of the year,” a source tells In Touch mag. Jessica is “calling it a ‘supersize wedding!’” Well, we’re not so sure it could possibly be the hugestevent of the year — that honor may belong to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West — but we’re sure it will be fabulous.
Their wedding wll take place at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California, according to the mag, and “will feature a barbeque spread and fireworks.”
The most exciting news, however, is that Jessica will be walking down the aisle in a pale pink, custom-made Marchesa gown. Gorgeous! Considering all the work she’s done to return to her pre-baby weight, we’re sure she’ll be thrilled by how she feels 55 pounds lighter from when baby Ace was born on her big day. We hope that we’ll see Ace and Maxwell in the wedding party!

The couple were originally planning on marrying in Capri, Italy, but “decided it was ‘too much’ to ask their friends to fly to Europe,” a source told Us Weekly. A ranch wedding seems much more their style, anyway.
