The Best New Wedding Décor Trends
Celebrity Wedding Planner Mindy Weiss on the Best New Wedding Décor Trends to Watch For
Forget all-white everything and subtle pastels—the new wedding décor trends to watch for are bold, unique and, best of all, eye-catching.
Mindy Weiss, a wedding planner to the stars who curated Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson's Great Expectations-themed wedding, has an official forecast for the best new wedding trends this season. Weiss partnered with Wedding Paper Divas to give a first look at the décor styles we'll see for 2015 celebrity weddings.
Weiss describes Asian-inspired chinoiserie—a European- and Chinese-influenced art that often features intricate floral details—as "big on the runway, big in home décor and big in weddings." These fun, sprightly prints would add an exotic touch to any wedding.
So long soft pink and yellows! Color-blocking rich hues is big for the season, according to Weiss: "We're seeing a turn toward deeper jewel tone hues. It's a fresh, modern way to express yourself," she explained.
And don't only leave lace to your dress. "What says romance more than lace?" Weiss asks. "Not just the dress: Pair lace with soft florals and beautiful lighting for traditional glamour."
Watch the video to see the rest of Mindy's trend picks for the upcoming wedding season!

Demi Lovato Flaunts Chest In Mesh Mini & Goes Braless
Demi Lovato, 21, sure showed off her toned physique in this Brian Lichtenberg dress as she arrived at LOGO TV’s ‘Trailblazers’ Pride Event and Telecast Taping on June 23. We love Demi’s sense of style and edginess, and from her purple tips to pink lips, Demi totally rocked this red carpet look!
Demi Lovato’s Boobs In Mesh Dress For LOGO TV’s Trailblazers Pride Event:
This is definitely one of our favorite looks from Demi on the red carpet. Demi confidently rocked this sexy mesh cutout Brian Lichtenberg dress, which she paired with to-die-for Roberto Cavalli heels. Demi could not have mastered this ensemble more — her body looked absolutely insane and her overall ensemble was breathtaking. Go Demi!
We loved the paneling on the dress. The cutout mesh accentuated Demi’s curves while strategically keeping her covered. Her purple tips and bright magenta lipsadded a POP to the dress that you couldn’t help but notice! Demi was trulyglowing from head to toe — and her best accessory proved to be her assets, which were totally visible.
Demi has such an edgy sense of style, and her latest red carpet look totally supported her taste. From the black color to the mesh at the chest and her purple hair, we love how she can get glam while still staying true to her style — and her best accessory always proves to be her confidence! The star is looking happier and healthier than ever before and she oozes confidence on the red carpet.

Say yes to the dress, but no to the fake
"You get this thing in the back of your mind that says it's probably too good to be true and I should have listened to it," says Stachurski, 37, of Fontana, California.
The bride-to-be, who is getting married on Saturday, had been duped in a way that is becoming more common as consumers order discount dresses for weddings, proms and other special occasions from web sites.
The dresses don't come cheap, so it's easy to understand the drive to find a bargain. The average wedding dress cost is now $1,281, according to a survey of 13,000 brides and grooms released in March by TheKnot.com. Dresses that cost upwards of $3,000 are not unusual, and prices can go far higher.
Those who want to pay less go can go to a well-established U.S. retailer with an online presence, like David's Bridal, or sites that sell used couture, including Tradesy.com, NearlyNewlywed.com and oncewed.com. You can also go to a well-regarded local consignment shop.
But many shoppers are falling prey to counterfeiters operating through foreign-owned websites. An estimated 600,000 dresses were illegally sold in the United States last year, according to the American Bridal and Prom Industry Association, a trade group.
Stachurski and her fiancé were in the bargain market because they wanted to keep their beach wedding a low-budget affair. When she found the perfect dress for $136, she felt lucky. It even arrived on time.
But once Stachurski opened the package, she found the dress was not only a wrinkled mess, but was also mis-sized, had raw edges, bunched up fabric and other obvious flaws. "As my fiancé said, 'It looked like a drunken monkey put it together with a stapler.'"
After the seller, a China-based website, told her they would accept a return if she would pay the $90 shipping charge, PayPal agreed to refund the transaction. Stachurski ended up just going to the mall and buying a casual dress off the rack. An email from Reuters asking the site to comment about the issues was not answered.
LOTS OF TEARS
Stories about brides scrambling after getting a counterfeit dress are common, says Steve Lang, chief executive officer of the bridal dress company Mon Cheri Llc and president of the American Bridal and Prom Industry Association. He often hears of broken-hearted brides and prom-goers, with tales not only of missed weddings or proms, but also people who have had their identities stolen and their credit ruined.
"A dress that sells for $2,500 you can order for $195 and you expect it to be the same? Horrific differences," Lang says.
The association has been aggressively pursuing the counterfeit sites, winning a court order earlier this year that halted about 1,100 foreign-based sites and froze nearly $1 million in PayPal transactions alone, Lang says.
The problem had been accelerating at a break-neck pace, says Roanna Rose, owner of TJ Formal in Joplin, Missouri, who has been monitoring the scam sites for the association. When she first started keeping track in 2011, she had a list of about 150 suspected scam sites. The list now totals more than 7,000.
Some are particularly enterprising, Rose says. One counterfeiting site even used photos of the inside of her very own store to appear legitimate, she says.
"I had a huge online business and it dwindled down to nothing," Rose says. "I blame the counterfeiters."
HOW TO SPOT A FAKE
Warning signs abound for dresses that are not real. Seeing a big discount on a name-brand dress, or promises of inexpensive custom orders, are the biggest warning signs. Wedding dress prices are largely controlled by the makers and distributors, industry officials say.
Before ordering, be sure the site or retailer is on a list of authorized sellers of the dress manufacturer, the bridal association recommends. Consumers can also check reviews posted to the Better Business Bureau site or to forums such as RipoffReport.com and SiteJabber.com.
Also, be sure of the origins of the site. Consumers have far more protection when buying from U.S. vendors. Nearly every site on the bridal association's watch list is based in China, says Rose.
But not everyone who buys a cheap dress online is getting scammed, Rose notes. She actually has had customers come to the store to ask to get measured so they could buy the cheap fake online.

Emma Stone Steps Out In Sheer For ‘The Amazing Spider Man 2′ Premiere
The gorgeous star loves to push the envelope when it comes to her sense of
style, and that’s exactly what she did! Was her look drab or fab?
Emma Stone, 25, has been busy on a whirlwind promotional tour for her latest major movie, and she stuns every single time she steps out on the red carpetn– and this time is no exception! While posing for photogs at the Premiere of The Amazing Spider Man 2: Rise of Electro at the Space Moderno Cinema in Rome, Italy on April 14, Emma showed off her incredible style in a patterned, sheer number that allowed her bra to show underneath. While the dress had a sexy element to it, the pattern and silhouette may be a bit busy for everyone’s liking.

Emma Stone’s See Through Top For ‘Amazing Spider Man 2′ Premiere:
The talented beauty opted for a completely unique look at her most recent outing, where she donned a stunning see-through black blouse by Valentino, which included a high neck and an oversized bow at the collar. She paired her sheer top with a chic, floor-length geometric printed maxi skirt, also by Valentino. Emma finished off her darling look with minimal Jennifer Meyer jewelry and a pair of black peep-toe pumps.
Emma’s gorg red hair was styled to perfection, in a flirty updo that kept the focus on her outfit. Light pink lipstick, shimmering eye makeup, and perfectly bronzed skin was the perfect accompaniment for her fashion-toward look.
Emma Stone’s Outfit — Love Or Loathe?
Although I am aware that this look is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, I absolutely adore Emma’s outfit. I give her so much credit for being such a unique individual in the constant spotlight of Hollywood’s biggest critics! I also LOVE the fact that the fashionista is opting to wear looks by designers from every country she is visiting on her promotional run– how chic!?

Kacey Musgraves: Beautiful In Blue For ACM Awards
The country crooner looked pretty in pastels as she walked the red carpet at
the big show in a dramatic gown. Did you love her spring look?
Kacey Musgraves looked like a modern day Cinderella as she stepped out on the red carpet in a full, powder blue gown for the 2014 Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 6 in Las Vegas, where the 25-year-old made a grand entrance in her blue Miu Miu gown. The songstress, (who was nominated for four awards), channeled a Disney princess in her dress.

Kacey Musgraves’ ACM Awards Dress:
While the color looked lovely on Kacey, I wasn’t totally obsessed with the silhouette. The dress, which featured a plunging neckline, was ruched as it extended down to her hips before it fanned out into a full skirt with a train. As if the sexy neckline and the detailing wasn’t enough, she also wore a belt to cinch in her waist. Straight hair and oversized earrings polished off the look.
Personally, I think there was just too much going on with this dress — and there wasn’t anything stylish or current about the look. While the color was pretty, the detailing didn’t even really do anything for her figure and the whole get-up seemed more like a cheap costume than a chic gown.
Kacey is young and gorgeous and there are a slew of trends she could have showed off! Do you agree? Did you love her dress or did the look also feel dated to you?

Safety pin dress take two! Maggie Q ditches undies to expose every inch of thigh
Lady Victoria Hervey did it at the Grammys, Mel B did it at an Oscars party –
and now Maggie Q has stepped up her game to don one of the most daring frocks
we've seen at a premiere.
The 34-year-old, who gained fame as the lead in The CW's action series Nikita, only has a minor role in new blockbuster Divergent, but you'd be forgiven for thinking she was the leading lady based on her eye-catching dress.

Maggie ditched her knickers to bare every inch of thigh – and then some – in
a revealing LBD that blew her co-stars out of the water.
The black frock featured a completely bare side panel, with the front and back being held on to the beauty's body with five thick black straps.
But between the material, it was just Maggie's flesh on show – and it was incredibly obvious that the babe had left both her bra and her undies at home.
Baring a level of sidebooty we've never seen before, Maggie's raunchy mini reminded us all of Liz Hurley's infamous safety pin dress.
The iconic Versace number, worn by Liz to the premiere of Four Weddings And A Funeral premiere in 1994, rocketed the Brit to international fame, and could be the inspiration for the current minor stars of Hollywood.
Whether Maggie's take on the classic will gain her international notoriety is unknown, but one thing is for sure – she most definitely stood out of the pack.
Maggie's frock left actual leading lady Shailene Woodley in the shade, despite the pretty star showing off her enviable pins in a slashed gown.
Her vintage-inspired gold off-the-shoulder number was way too dowdy for the 22-year-old, who has chopped off her flowing locks for her role as a cancer patient in her next movie role.
The brunette attempted to sex up her look by flashing her pins via the Angelina leg pose, but failed to outdo co-star Maggie in the sizzling stakes.
Instead of going head-to-head with the action star, Shailene posed with castmate Kate Winslet, who looked sensational in a full-length scarlet gown which flattered her post-pregnancy curves.
The blonde covered up her cleavage, but still managed to shine among the hot young Hollywood cast.
Who needs safety pins and wardrobe malfunctions waiting to happen, eh?

Round-up: Glamour on wall street
The stars at the recent premiere of The Wolf of Wall Street in New York have definitely lived up to the hype with their glorious fashion choices. Ditching the gloominess of snow-capped winter in the state, our favourite celebrities showed up in exquisite gowns, trendy cocktail dresses and graceful suits. Undoubtedly in awe of their fashion sense, we round up our top picks of the evening:
Camila Alves
Leornardo DiCaprio
The Inception star looks dapper in a classic black suit and matching tie. With a slicked-back hairdo, sexy stubble, killer smile and a chiseled bod enhanced by a well-fitted suit, Leo has us simply drooling over him. There is no doubt that this guy is a perfect combination of good looks and talent.
Margot Robbie
Matthew McConaughey
The hunk with unconventional looks, actor Matthew McConaughey is an eye candy in this gray/silver suit with a matching tie. With the slick, spiky hairdo, courtesy celebrity hairstylist Patrick Melville, and those heart-melting dimples, Matthew looks suave and sharp on the red carpet.
Cristin Milioti
Jonah Hill
Actor Jonah Hill maintained his reputation of being quirky and fun. He sported a navy suit and a white shirt with a spread collar. However, it was his floral patterned maroon tie that caught our attention. We won’t say that we are fans of it but it’s good to see Jonah making an effort!
