Grazia is currently in Dallas, Texas where the Fash Pack rolled into town
yesterday - headed up by Karl Lagerfeld - for the presentation of Chanel's
Métiers d’Art show. While we weren't surprised to see Kristen Stewart among
them, she looked mighty cosy with Monsieur Lagerfeld at the French fashion
house's Haute Couture fashion show earlier this year after all, it turns out
that the actress was more than just a spectator of Chanel's latest
collection.
The 23-year-old, who has previously starred as the face of Balenciaga's
Florabotanica fragrance has been selected by Chanel's creative director to
appear in his Métiers d’Art campaign. Karl will be the man behind the lense when
Kristen shoots the ads, which are set for release in May 2014. The pair first
met last year during a photo shoot in Paris where the Twilight star was wearing
Chanel Haute Couture. She had previously stepped out in a Chanel look at the
Toronto Film Festival in 2007 and has since worn designs by Lagerfeld to the
BAFTA Awards, the Met Ball in 2010 and of course to the Autumn Winter 2013
Chanel Haute Couture show in July where she appeared to be channeling Karl's
style.
At yesterday's Métiers d’Art show Kristen joined the likes of Lagerfeld, Anna
Wintour and Dakota Fanning for Chanel's Paris Dallas Drive-In spectacular. She
wore wide leg tan leather trousers and a cropped sweater with another jumper
slung around her waist in a typical low-key K-Stew fashion. We're imagining the
brunette beauty as the star of her very own rodeo in the campaign - a
gung-slinging Chanel cowgirl is the perfect fit for her tomboy persona.
