Snooki Posts Sexy Selfie In Stunning Vintage Wedding Gown

With both a baby AND a wedding on the way, Snooki certainly has a lot on her plate! Nevertheless, the ‘Snooki & Jwoww’ star took some time out of her day to share a pic of herself trying on a stunning vintage wedding gown on May 29 — she looks amazing!
Snooki, 26, sure cleans up nice! The mom of one, who will tie the knot with fiance Jionni LaValle in October, just one month after her second child is due, is not going to let her post-baby body stop her from walking down the aisle in a totally gorgeous gown! Snooki took to her Facebook page to share this stunning selfie – do YOU think this dress is the one?

Snooki Wedding Dress — Star Shows Off Stunning Vintage Gown
Here comes the bride! Snooki was so excited about the classic but sexy vintage gown she tried on on May 29 that she jumped on Facebook to share a pic!
She captioned the photo, “This is NOT dress, but something like it how gorgeous is this dress? I loved it, but needed more of an UMPH. I’m too short for a elegant mermaid dress, but I loved how vintage and classy this was can’t wait for the big day to show you all the dress I did pick out!!! Xoxoxo. Love, Nicole.”
With its sexy sheer back that dips down to the top of her bottom, we think this dress has plenty of UMPH — but apparently not enough for our little Snooks!
Snooki Reveals Sex Of Second Baby In Adorable New Video — Watch
Snooki and Jionni are going to have one amazing autumn this year! The couple are also expecting a baby girl in September and they broke the news of their baby’s sex in the cutest way possible earlier in May!
“Jionni and I have a big announcement about our new baby on the way!!!” Snooki tweeted, along with a link to her official blog, where she had posted a video of Snooki and her son, Lorenzo, learning the sex of his sibling together. Jionni already knew the secret and he had prepared a bin full of balloons, which Snooki opened to reveal pink balloons. How sweet!

Snooki’s reaction was priceless: “Oh God, kill me.” Of course she was just kidding– hilarious!

Kim Kardashian’s Wedding Dresses

Although for both her second and third trips down the aisle the reality darling opted for high-fashion, designer gowns, they couldn’t have been any more different! Strapless and voluminous or covered up in lace? Which style do you prefer?
They say third time’s a charm — and I definitely think that’s the case for Kim Kardashian! The 33-year-old looked absolutely breathtaking for her wedding ceremony at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy on May 24, where she emerged in a stunning haute couture creation, crafted by the couple’s good friend, (and Givenchy creative director!), Riccardo Tisci. While months of speculation surrounding what the hot mama would wear for her walk down the aisle, the finished result, (which we spotted in the couple’s first official photos on E!), managed to totally exceed our expectations — and it also reminded us of yet another white dress Kim rocked in 2011.

Kim Kardashian’s Wedding Dresses — Kris Humphries V. Kanye West Dress Battle:
When Kim tied the knot and married NBA player Kris Humphries she went for a more-is-more approach in a full, strapless Vera Wang ball gown. The sexy dress allowed the star to flaunt her ample cleavage and she dressed it up with a slew of jewelry, including a diamond headpiece, which sparkled as she wore her hair slicked back. Designer Vera Wang happens to be a close friend of the Kardashians and crafted three dresses for Kim to wear while celebrating her 2011 wedding — but nothing was quite as dramatic as the dress she wore down the aisle!
Kim Kardashian’s Givenchy Wedding Dress:
While Kim went for a traditional princess approach for her 2011 wedding, her 2014 ensemble was definitely more understated and chic. Sporting a lace dress that featured long-sleeves, the mermaid silhouette hugged her svelte frame while sheer cutouts at the side and at the back added a sexy vibe to her sophisticated gown. Kim stuck to the minimal vibe by wearing her long brown hair down in a soft style, which was covered by a matching silk train that was trimmed with lace — it was simply stunning! Diamond Martin Katz studs, (a gift her new groom, Kanye West, gifted to her in 2013), finished off her ensemble.

Kim loves getting glam and I thought that for her Florence wedding she would’ve dressed over-the-top — so I was pleasantly surprised to see her opt for something more understated. Personally I loved everything about her Givenchy gown — it was head-to-toe perfection!

Kim Kardashian Wedding Dress Pictures: Long Sleeves, Lace Likened to Kate Middleton's

Kim Kardashian Kanye West
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West arrive at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala Benefit celebrating the opening of "Charles James: Beyond Fashion" in Upper Manhattan, New York, May 5, 2014.
Kim Kardashian wore an elegant white wedding dress during her wedding to Kanye West on Saturday and fans were quick to point out the similarities to that of Duchess Kate Middleton's.
The reality TV star, 33, opted for a long-sleeved, fitted lace number with matching long veil designed by Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci as she made her way down the aisle in Florence, Italy. Critics on social media suspect that the flattering look may have been inspired by the same Alexander McQueen gown worn by Middleton during the 2011 royal wedding
Kate
In addition to dress similarities, Kardashian clutched a small bouquet of white flowers as did Middleton in 2011. She and West were alsotransported from the ceremony via a horse-drawn carriage, much-like Middleton and Prince William were during the royal wedding.
Kardashian's aunt, Karen Houghton, revealed the E! star's plans to "replicate" the royal wedding during a recent interview.
"Kim saw how visually stunning the royal wedding looked and wants to replicate that. Kim and Kanye want something just as traditional and classy," Houghton reportedly told the Daily Mirror U.K.
"Kim saw how the fashion world has reacted to Kate and wants to be just like her," she added.
This is not the first time that Kardashian, who is renowned for being somewhat of a glamorous sex symbol, has been accused of copying Middleton's style. In 2012 West reportedly asked the reality star to adopt a more natural look like Middleton's.
"Kate Middleton has influenced [Kim's] look while in London. Kate's amazing. We watched her wedding and we thought it was beautiful. Kim's style icon is Sophia Loren," Kardashian's make-up artist Rob Scheppy told the Daily Star at the time.

"Kanye does like to get involved with Kim's look. He actually has a lot of input, he has amazing style so we take his opinions to heart and I say: 'OK, I'll try it,'" he added.

Kim Kardashian Trades Leather Outfit For Balmain Mini In Paris

The bride-to-be showed no signs of slowing down leading up to her nuptials, as she stepped out in two totally different looks while in Paris — and one was Balmain! Is she trying to give us a hint of what to expect we can see her wear when she walks down the aisle?
Kim Kardashian was out about about in Paris, yet again, on May 22, where the 33-year-old bride-to-be showed off two totally different looks — but both were tighter than ever, showing off her svelte pre-wedding figure!

Kim Kardashian’s Leather Outfit In Paris:
We first spotted Kim stepping out for a visit to the Eiffel Tower with her BFFJonathan Cheban, where she put her assets on full display in a leather outfit which consisted of a black skirt and a leather button-down. With her shirt unbuttoned just enough to give her fans a glimpse of her cleavage, she looked perfectly put together in her signature style. Her skirt hugged her curves in all the right places and a slit up the front showed a hint of her legs as she walked by. She elongated her petite frame in a pair of gold, ankle-strap sandals. She wore her dark hair sleek and straight, parted down the middle, and finished off her outfit with oversized frames. Everything about her outfit was all-leather-everything.
Kim Kardashian Balmain Dress For Paris Dinner Pre-Wedding:
We must admit, wearing leather from head-to-toe doesn’t seem like the most comfortable get-up to rock while sight-seeing, so we weren’t surprised to see Kim slip into something else for dinner with her family. The hot mama was spotted heading into Costes restaurant on Rue St. Honoré for the second night in a row, where she showed off an embellished turtleneck dress by Balmain that featured long sleeves and a floral motif at the chest. While this definitely isn’t an easy look to pull off, it looked amazing on Kim’s curves. She added some curls to the ends of her hair and amped up her beauty routine for the dinner.

Kim’s style is sexier than ever leading up to her big wedding day, and we can’t get enough of it. Did you have a favorite look on the reality darling?

Christina Grimmie ‘The Voice’ Outfits — Fashion & Style:
Want to get Christina’s look? It’s clear that separates seem to make up most of her wardrobe. Her go-to is definitely a tailored blazer — we’ve seen her sport a jacket in both black and white on numerous occasions! The songstress also loves shorts, rocking both a form-fitting, leather version and a more comfortable pair.
Aside from her standout styles, she also loves accessorizing — and it definitely goes a long way. From fingerless gloves to jewelry, the way her looks are styled is really what sets them apart — she has all the makings of a
Although she may take chances with the silhouettes she shows off, she often prefers a clean color palette of black and white — but who knows? Maybe she’ll shock us in a bold hue for the grand finale show!

What do you think of Christina’s style evolution? Are you loving her fashion this season?

Gwen Stefani’s Amazing Vintage Prom Dress Proves She Was A Style Icon Even In High School

The words “style icon” get tossed around so frequently these days they’ve been rendered functionally meaningless, but if anybody has earned them it is Gwen Stefani. She is so cool that whenever I write about her I instinctively type “fucking” as though it were her middle name, Gwen Fucking Stefani. If there were any celebrity whose style I could magically download into my body (and closet), it would be hers.
A lot of modern style icons come by their greatness with a lot of help in the form of stylists, makeup artists, and clothing budgets, but Gwen Stefani’s latest selfie proves she’s always been the most stylish person around, even in high school.
gwen-stefani-prom-dress-gloves
That stylish young woman is Gwen-fucking-Stefani, age 17. She and her mother made that prom dress together, inspired by Grace Kelly‘s dress from Rear Window. Doesn’t that just seem like something Gwen Stefani would do?
Stefani even has a Barbie doll of Grace Kelly in her Rear Window dress, and it looks like Stefani and her mom did a bang-up job recreating that masterpiece.
gwen-stefani-prom-dress
I love that Stefani wore little white gloves with her dress, too. Gloves are an excellent accessory, especially for prom. You can dance without worrying about clammy hands (yours or your partner’s) and they elevate any outfit. Also, gloves are really sexy.
If any young people out there are still picking out their dresses for prom, there is still time to ask yourself: What Would Gwen Stefani Do?

And now we know the answer: Gwen Stefani would wear a vintage-inspired dress from a classic movie and be the coolest girl at the gym.

How the Wedding Dress Got So Slutty

slutty-wedding-dress
Forget teenagers and the G train — the thing that’s really falling into a state of disarray these days is our wedding attire. Yep, we’re slut-shaming bridal gowns now. Their hems are too short, their hues too saturated, and their price tags too cheap. We’re looking at you, H&M — how can you expect “’till deal do us part” when you’re giving away your special parts (erm, that embellished neckline) in exchange for $99 and a damn good, probably quite drunken, time?
Wedding Dresses 1775-2014, a new exhibition at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, offers a panorama of fashion over the last two centuries. via nearly 100 gowns on display. They range from antique society dresses and chaste Victorian whites to Gwen Stefani’s pink-drenched Dior confection, making pit stops at wartime ’40s and the ’60s sexual revolution. Other designers include Charles Frederick Worth, Norman Hartnell, Charles James, John Galliano, Christian Lacroix, Vivienne Westwood and Vera Wang. But it inadvertently, as Fast Company points out, delves into the deeper implications of the dress’ moral dissolution.
It’s unlikely that the Victoria and Albert Museum’s intention was to slut-shame our gowns, but the exhibition is cast into a new light as an increasing number of fast fashion brands offer affordable gowns for the betrothed 20-something without loaded parents to bankroll the wedding. Or who just want to dig into cake and champagne without fear of soiling $10,000 of tulle. Reformation also recently launched a collection of eight gown styles ranging from ivory silk wedding dresses ($518 to $588) to bridesmaids dresses ($198 to $368) and they look as good for post-marriage brunching as they do for walking down the aisle.
Here’s a timeline of our favorite exhibition trends and their accompanying gowns, with some less traditional developments thrown in for good measure. This is 2014, dammit, and our dresses can be as lose as they damn well like. (If you even intend to get married, that is — we’re totally here for the cat lady gown too.)
1848: The White Wedding
Brides didn’t always wear white, and not because they weren’t virgins. Queen Victoria proved quite the sartorial trailblazer when she wed Prince Albert in white back in 1840, and white satin soon caught on as nothing more than a status symbol. This flouncy frock worn by Henrietta Woodcock at her 1848 marriage to John Bell is testament to the fact that white’s not easy to keep clean, especially when you couldn’t just drop something off at the dry cleaners. (The conservator allocated 25 hours for the wet cleaning of the lace overdress of this particular one, and it’s looking good.) Maybe gowns were never virginal to begin with?
1933: Hollywood Takes Hold

Acclaimed society beauty and gossip columnist favorite Margaret Whigham wed Charles Sweeny in a decadent gown that took its inspiration from Hollywood. Designed by Norman Hartnell, it is made from ivory satin, and appliquéd with orange blossoms, outlined with faux pearls and bugle beads. But the most batshit impressive design feature is its integral train, which is 3.70 metres long, 2 metres wide, and embellished with beading and tulle. The video below shows this also makes it a bitch to transport.
